Oct 05 - Played with different groups of people, it's got a great newbie appeal, games are always close, people get involved. It deserves a 10!!! |

I feel the Expansions Maps as part of the Game, I will Rate the Expansion Maps based on the Rating I give to the Game, just because I think I will play all of them, almost the same amount of times. My gaming Group is very competitive and we track the Results, we constantly change Maps, play after play. A GEEK among us has just developed PowerGrid Portugal Map and we are now starting the playtesting. |

| MrSmith | 5.0 | Interesting theme, simple rules, good lenght (3 to 4 hours), good number of players (4 to 5 is good). But...not enough interaction for me! Still willing to play most of the time since my group is thrilled with this one. They compete a lot so i can't stay behind. Only won once though, in many games played. AFTER A FEW MORE GAMES: still fun, but has the same problem as many german longer games, like Wallenstein, which is to make you think a lot and for long. Brainburners like these come less often off the box. Anyway a great simulation and good fun. UPDATE2008: again it is a great simulation and has very good mecanics. Too heavy for the casual eurogamer inside of me. | |
